Lian began her training locally at the age of five. She trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap and Musical theatre. Lian trained in R.A.D Ballet up to Solo Seal level as well as achieving her Gold Star in C.D.T.A Tap and Jazz.

Lian has performed and trained all over the world from Las Vegas to Japan. She has spent numerous summers training with The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School - professional division, as well as The National Ballet School of Canada.

In 2001 Lian apprenticed with Ballet B.C. training and performing with the company. She has had the opportunity to train with many world renowned choreographers and teachers such as Karen Kain, Peggy Baker, John Alleyne, Mia Michaels and Chan Hon Goh to name a few.

Lian has been teaching throughout the Lower Mainland for 7 years where many of her students have received high standings and awards at local festivals and competitions. This is Lian's fifth year teaching at Fabulous Feet school of dance.
