A popular teacher for 30 years, Belinda Sobie, has given Master classes in jazz styles for the Royal Academy of Dance, Canadian Dance Teachers Association, Moosejaw Dance Society, B.C. Teachers Association and the B.C. Jazz Dance Association.

Her knowledge in jazz and lyrical technique has given her the opportunity to teach summer schools at every major dance studio in the lower mainland and Vancouver Island.

Belinda has adjudicated and coached for the Moosejaw Dance Festival, B.C. Jazz Dance Festival as well as Ted Lange of the Hit TV show “The Love Boat.

As a successful choreographer for stage, television and film, Belinda has choreographed West Side Story (Jessie Award Nomination), The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, The Pajama Game, Guys and Dolls and Maz & Me’s Dinner Theatre Restaurant. Other credits include: Booker, Escandalo (Spain), Music Hallelujah (Seattle) and Rhythm of the Night.

She has assisted in choreography for Theresa Teng’s Orient Tour, Christmas in Never Neverland and Radio Active Dream in L.A.
